Week 2 of the Devotay Cocktail Naming Contest

First of all, congratulations to Kate Harshbarger Richey for her winning entry in our 1st cocktail-naming contest.  Last week’s recipe will henceforth be called a “Slow Drawl.”  Kate wins 2 of the cocktails she named and a tapa to share at Devotay’s new bar.  Thanks to the more than 4 dozen who submitted entries, it was a tough choice!

And now, YOU can win a similar prize for coming up with our name for this tasty tipple that Kim dreamed up.  Post your answers here (in the comments section below) or on our Facebook page.  Just like last week, the winner will be announced next Tuesday, and a new recipe will be posted Wednesday, Oct. 5.

Here goes.

Fill a Collins glass with ice.  Add:

1 shot St. Germaine Liqueur (A French liqueur flavored with elderflowers)
Juice of half an orange
1 dash blackberry-fennel bitters

Top with  Codorniu Cava

Garnish with an orange wedge

Enter as often as you like, and good luck!
